Covid-19 Deaths are three times higher

Covid-19 Deaths are three times higher, as the records say.

Researchers say that more than 18 million people – three times more than official records say – have died because of Covid.

It comes two years after the World Health Organization first said there was a pandemic when the report came out.

In the United States, the Covid-19 excess mortality team at Washington University looked at 191 countries and territories to figure out the true global death figure.

Infection was a possible cause of some deaths, but it was not the only one.

If you get Covid, it could make your heart or lung disease worse, for example.

If you compare how many people have died in the last few years to the previous few years before the pandemic, it’s called “excess deaths.”

The researchers looked at government websites like the World Mortality Database, the Human Mortality Database, and the European Statistical Office to figure this out.

Rates of extra deaths are thought to have been very different in different countries and regions. Still, the global rate calculated by the study is 120 deaths per 100,000 people.

During the two years from 2020 to the end of 2021, about 18.2 million people died because of Covid. This is three times more than the official 5.9 million deaths that have been recorded.

This is because there were a lot of lags and inconsistencies in reporting Covid death data that could make the estimates very different, the researchers say.

So the researchers only calculated extra death rates for the whole study period and not by week or month.

Study: The Lancet says that lower-income countries in Latin America, Europe, and sub-Saharan Africa had the highest rates of HIV. But some high-income countries, like Italy and parts of the United States, also saw a lot of deaths.

For the UK, the total number of Covid-related deaths in 2020 and 2021 was about 173,000, the same as official records.

However, there was an extra death rate of 130 people for every 100,000 people.

As the lead author, Dr. Haidong Wang, said: “Understanding the actual death toll from the pandemic is essential for making good public health decisions.

“Covid may have been the direct cause of most extra deaths in some countries, like Sweden and the Netherlands. However, we don’t have enough evidence to say for sure in most places.

“Further research will show how many people died because of Covid and how many died because of the pandemic.”

The researchers think that the number of people who die because of the pandemic will decrease because of vaccines and new treatments.

It’s still not over, they say. And the virus could become more dangerous.
