Arrest Me If This Is True: Manish Sisodia on BJP's Sting Operation in Excise Policy Case

The Bhartiya Janta Party was harshly criticized by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Thursday for the sting operation video they published this morning.

If the accusations against him are genuine, the top AAP leader challenged the CBI and ED to look into the sting and place him in jail.

Sidodia criticized PM Narendra Modi, saying that if the accusations are untrue, the PM should apologize to him.

On Thursday morning, the Bharatiya Janata Party launched a sting operation that purportedly exposed corruption by the AAP administration of Delhi in “handing out contracts for liquor licenses” under the excise policy that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had instituted.

The prominent AAP politician posted on Twitter, saying, “The CBI searched my home but found nothing. In the locker, nothing was discovered.

Investigations by CBI/ED turned up nothing. However, the BJP has now arrived in force. So the CBI/ED should look into this sting as well.

If the accusations are accurate, have me taken into custody by Monday. Otherwise, PM Ji had to convey his regret to me for conducting a phony sting on Monday “.

AAP leader and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal responded to the controversy surrounding the BJP’s sting operation on Twitter by writing, “Oh my Manish! Only a sincere and brave person could accept such a task. I have no doubt that BJP would accept your challenge. Your efforts and integrity have made the whole nation proud. They are frightened of your academic efforts. want to stop him. You go on performing your work.”

Minister Manish Sisodia, the head of the AAP, is one of the 15 people the federal investigation agency identified in an FIR concerning a purported excise policy issue.
