IPL 2022: Mumbai Indians set a new low, becoming the first team to do this.

Thursday, April 21, was a big day for Mumbai Indians. They became the first team in the Indian Premier League (IPL) history of losing their first seven games.

After Chennai Super Kings beat Rohit Sharma’s team by three wickets at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, the five-time champions became the first team to win five times.

This means that MI broke the record of Delhi Daredevils (DELHI CAPITAL) and Royal Challengers Bangalore, who both lost six games in 2013 and 2019.

This is also the 11th time that a team has lost seven games in a row in the IPL, but this is the first time that a team that had won the IPL title had to deal with the embarrassment.

CSK won the toss and bowled first in the match, which is what this year’s tournament has been all about. They were all out for a duck in the first over by Mukesh Choudhary of CSK. After this, MI fought hard with the help of Tilak Varma’s 51 off 43 and came up with 155.

In the same way, MI also took the CSK opener for a duck. After that, Uthappa (30 off 25) and Rayudu (40 off 35) kept the team moving in the right direction. Pretorius made 22 in 14 balls, and MS Dhoni (28 not out off 13) hit a boundary off the last ball to finish the match. This was very important in the end.

After a bad start, Tilak Varma’s 51 not out helped MI reach 155 for 7, but in the end, it wasn’t enough because CSK hit 156 in the last ball. “We got to a point where we thought we could put them under a lot of stress with the ball.” Before the end, I thought we had them in a tight spot. But in the future, Rohit Sharma, the captain of MI, said that MS and Pretorius were very calm and got them home in the end.

Rohit said that the pitch was good and that his team could have made more runs after being asked to bat. Ravindra Jadeja, the captain of CSK, said that Dhoni was the best player in the world.

“The way the game was going, we were very nervous. At some point, we knew that the great finisher of the game was there, and if he played to the last ball, he could finish the match.” He (Dhoni) showed everyone that he’s still alive and can finish the game, Jadeja said.

Many people on the team have a lot of experience, so they know when and how to play. In other words, even if the game doesn’t go our way, we still try to be calm and relaxed.
