China’s army withdrawal from India was peaceful: China said on Friday that the frontline army withdrawal process has started from the Patrol Point-15 (Gogra-Hotsprings) region in eastern Ladakh, adding that the force pullout will promote peace and tranquility along the Sino-Indian border.

The “Jianan Daban” region mentioned in the Chinese statement is the same as PP-15 or Gogra-Hotsprings. Both said in the Thursday night-released Indian official information on disengagement.
According to a joint statement issued after the 16th round of military talks in July, held after a four-month gap. The two sides “reaffirmed that the resolution of remaining issues would help restore peace and tranquility along the LAC in the Western Sector and enable progress in bilateral relations.”
